BMW 3 Series vs. 4 Series: Design

Interior of 2022 4 SeriesOne of the biggest differences between the 3 Series and the 4 Series is in their respective designs. Both models classify as luxury small cars, but the 4 Series offers a few extra variations. The BMW 4 Series gives you four unique trim levels and body styles, including:

  • A 2-door 4 Series Coupe
  • A 4-door 4 Series Gran Coupe
  • A 2-door 4 Series Convertible
  • A 2-door 4 Series M4 Coupe and Convertible

With the BMW 3 Series, you’ll have the same spacious cabin dimensions, no matter which of its six trim levels you choose. This sporty, low-riding model is made for making an impression inside and out.

You’ll have 42 inches of front legroom and more than 35 inches in all three rear seats. Spread out and get comfortable while you weave through city and highway traffic.

BMW 3 Series vs 4 Series: Performance

Silver 2022 BMW 3 SeriesAs smaller models, both the 2022 BMW 3 Series and the 2022 BMW 4 Series offer a good balance of power and efficiency. The 3 Series offers three dynamic engines:

  • A 288-horsepower combination 2.0L TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine and electric motor
