BMW X5 Specs

In a lineup of hearty BMW SUV engines, there’s no weak link to be found. The base engine is a powerful 3.0L I-6 engine capable of putting out 302 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, for smooth and energetic acceleration whenever you need it. There are also turbodiesel and plug-in hybrid engines available, if you prefer a more fuel-efficient powertrain.

For even more power, choose from two V8 engines, the more powerful of which is found in the BMW X5 M variant. It produces 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque to go from 0 to 60 MPH in 4 seconds flat! The available Dynamic Performance Control distributes power between the real wheels, so you have more agile, sporty handling.

BMW X5 Technology Package

There’s a lot of advanced technology in the BMW X5, and much of it is standard. The infotainment system comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display, along with a navigation feature, so you can get easy directions to your destination. With Bluetooth® wireless, you can make calls and stream music without letting go of the wheel.

You can stay connected to the internet with the optional Wi-Fi® hotspot, letting your passengers browse the internet or catch up on some work while they’re on the go. The available rear-seat entertainment system gives riders in the backseat something to do.  They can catch a movie on the two 10.2-inch LCD screens, mounted conveniently on the backs of the front seats.

BMW X5 Dimensions

The new X5 is a two-row SUV with seating for five people, and its premium interior design will keep you very comfortable as you’re driving through Arlington, Dallas, or Fort Worth. Materials are truly top-notch. You can choose from wood or brushed metal inlays, as well as standard synthetic or available real leather.

You can also opt for the available reclining rear seats to keep your backseat passengers more comfortable on long rides. When you recline, you can add up to 3 inches of extra legroom to the already impressive 36.6 inches of legroom you’ll find in the rear seats. If you need it, certain trims let you add an optional third-row seat to accommodate up to two more passengers.
